Terms and conditions

These terms apply between you (the client) and Kunal Chauhan, a sole proprietor trading as Studio Footfall ("we", "us"). By paying a setup fee or a monthly fee, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you pay.

1. What we provide

We design, build, host and maintain a website for you, as described for your plan on our pricing page. Add-ons are provided as described there. Anything not listed is outside the plan, and we'll quote for it first.

2. Fees and payment

• Setup fee: 50% before we start, 50% when your site goes live.
• Monthly fee: paid in advance by UPI Autopay, starting the month your site goes live.
• Annual prepayment: pay 12 months upfront and get 2 of them free.
• Your domain renewal is paid by you, directly to your registrar, at cost. Meta's WhatsApp message fees, if any, are billed at cost.
• Our prices are final. GST is not added.

3. Late payment

If a monthly payment is late, we send a reminder at 7 days. At 15 days we pause edits. At 30 days we may take the site offline until payment is made. We never hold back your domain.

4. Edits

Each plan includes a set number of edits a month. Unused edits don't carry over. Extra pages cost ₹1,999 each. Most edits go live within 2 working days.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give us accurate information about your business, timings, fees and staff.
• Only send photos, logos and text you have the right to use.
• For clinics: make sure your content follows your council's advertising rules. We build to those rules by default, but you are the registered practitioner, and your council has the final word.
• Approve drafts within a reasonable time. Delays on your side pause our timelines.

6. Ownership

You own your domain, your content (text, photos, logo), your data and your Google Business Profile. We own our design templates and tools and may reuse them for other clients. When you leave, you keep a free, permanent copy of your website. See our pledge.

7. Data

If your site collects enquiries or bookings, you are the data fiduciary and we process that data only on your behalf, to run your site. We don't sell it or use it for anything else. When you leave, we export it to you and then delete our copies. See our privacy policy.

8. Hosting

Your site runs on third-party platforms such as Cloudflare. We can't promise more uptime than they provide, but we fix anything on our side as fast as we can.

9. Term and leaving

Plans run month to month. Either side can end them with 30 days' notice. There's no lock-in and no exit fee. After the notice period, we follow the Exit Kit described on our pledge page.

10. Founding 10 offer

Founding 10 clients pay half the regular setup fee. In return, you allow us to show your live site as an example of our work, once you've approved it in writing. You can withdraw that permission at any time.

11. Liability

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We aren't liable for lost business, lost profits or indirect losses.

12. Changes to prices or terms

We give at least 30 days' notice of any change. Months you've already paid for keep their old price.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Indian law. Courts in Delhi have jurisdiction. Before any dispute, please talk to us: most things are sorted in one conversation.

14. Grievances
